im so fucking excited.
on friday im going back to where i belong.
back to where i lived for 10 years.
back to my best friends.
the ones i have known since i was in elementary school. one from when i was 3.
nothing can tell you how important this is to me.
florida is a different world than haddonfield.
in florida...
you never walk anywhere.
the smallest yard is on 2+ acres.
everyone has a pool.
everyone has a real tan.
everyone has highlighted hair from the sun.
everyone and everything is fun.
you can turn the stupidest things to great nights. (mini golf anyone?)
"going out" is going to the payless movie theater and seeing a movie for $3.
a lot of people have boats and they go out on them every weekend.
when i lived there i think i only had 2 sweaters. you never need them.
it can be 80 degrees on christmas.
it can be 95 degrees in june, july, and august.
school starts in august.
and goes until may.
flip flops are worn year round.
the pools are always open.
the beach is perfect everyday.
never cold.
and ummm ew? NO SEAWEED AT THE BEACH! :)
and yes, its the beach...not the shore.
you get a "sub", not a hoagie.
you pump your own gas.
if you talk about acme, people think you are talking about those cartoons with the cyote and the road runner.
so, if you ever talk about it, you have to relate it to a "publix"
you can be sunburned in december.
and you will.
i love it.
